How to close or exit Sidebar in Windows Vista? {Tutorial for beginners}

This short tutorial shows you how to close or hide the Sidebar from desktop in Windows Vista. Follow the steps as shown below: 
 
1) Right click on Sidebar and select "Close Sidebar" from the drop down menu as shown in Figure 1.

2) If you want to remove "Sidebar" from desktop right click on "Sidebar" icon in system tray and click "Exit" from the menu as shown in Figure 2.

3) If you want "Sidebar" not to start each time you start Windows Vista, right click on "Sidebar" icon in system tray and click "Properties" from the menu list as shown in Figure 3.

4) When "Windows Sidebar Properties" dialogue box appears uncheck "Start Sidebar when Windows starts" as shown in Figure 4. Now you can make sure that "Sidebar" won't appear on desktop each time you start Windows Vista.
